VICC Young Ambassadors

Matt and Kathleen Yabroudy

We are so excited to be new members of the VICC Young Ambassadors. It is our hope and belief that the researchers we support will make great discoveries in the detection and treatment of all types of cancer.

Shortly after joining the Young Ambassadors this year, someone very dear to us (Matt’s mom) was diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer. She has never smoked a day in her life, but cancer doesn’t discriminate. We all know people that have been touched by this horrible disease. Watching her go through the treatment process has opened our eyes to the gravity of cancer, the way it consumes every ounce of energy and takes over every aspect of life. She is strong, and she is a fighter, and we pray everyday that her body continues to respond to the treatments she is given.

While the medicine available for cancer today is a drastic improvement from a few decades earlier, we still have a long way to go. Cancer continues to take too many loved ones from this world, but we have an opportunity to fight back. That opportunity is the Young Ambassadors and the incredible cancer researchers that we support.

We’d love for you to join us in being a part of this important, life-giving initiative. 100% of donations raised through the Young Ambassadors are given to deserving cancer researchers with some of the most cutting-edge medical ideas in the world. Please making a financial gift – and making a difference – today!

  1. A very worthy cause and hopefully seeding these researchers will bring use closer to finding a cure.
