Cancer has affected almost everyone, but each of us can make a difference.

We were first affected by cancer in 2005 after our Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer.  When the tough decision was made to choose a center for treatment, he decided on Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. During the following 18 months, Dad received cutting-edge treatments from a remarkable team at the center. The fight was no longer simply within our family, but expanded to the doctors, nurses and staff on his team. Their family became part of ours. After fighting a great battle, we lost our hero in 2007. Since that time, we have continued to fight the war in Dad’s memory by supporting research at the Cancer Center.

Joining the Young Ambassadors has energized our efforts to bring awareness for the necessity to further cancer research of all types.  We know that Vanderbilt-Ingram in connection with other centers worldwide will one day find a cure.

Please join us by contributing to Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in support of the Young Ambassadors fund.  Every small breakthrough may be the beginning to the end of cancer as we reach for VICCtory Over Cancer!
